Afghanistan: Explosion in mosque during Friday prayers
Terrorist attacks in Afghanistan imprisoned by the Taliban
government are not decreasing. According to the latest developments, a blast
occurred on the door of a mosque in northern Afghanistan on Friday. One person
died in this attack, while seven people were injured. The blast took place when
a large number of people were inside the mosque for Friday prayers.
Baz Mohammad Sarvari of Badghis province said on Friday that
the cause of the blast was not yet known and that an investigation was
underway. So far no one has claimed responsibility for this blast. In the past,
local groups affiliated with the Slamic State have claimed responsibility for
such attacks.
Sarvari said the injured were sent to a provincial hospital,
with Taliban troops securing the area. The blast took place when a large number
of people were inside the mosque for Friday prayers.
